Positioning Andhra Pradesh as a Global DeepTech Hub

India and Asia are rapidly emerging as global DeepTech hubs, particularly in AI/ML, quantum computing, life sciences and biotech. Andhra Pradesh aims to lead this shift, positioning itself as a DeepTech leader through strategic R&D investments, public-private partnerships, and startup support. With a strong infrastructure and an innovative ecosystem, Andhra Pradesh is set to drive the region’s DeepTech revolution.

GFST’s Strategic Pilot for Advanced Governance

The Global Forum for Sustainable Transformation (GFST), founded in 2020 by me as the Chief Patron, is piloting strategic initiatives in Andhra Pradesh, a state with a population comparable to the 27th largest country in the world. This pilot uses both existing data and new AI
tools to create a comprehensive decision-support system that enables sustainable growth and scalable solutions. This system supports audits, log frames, KPIs, and outcome assessments to identify policy gaps, drive organizational development, and optimize technology.

Real-Time Governance (RTGS)

RTGS exemplifies the “uberization” of governance, leveraging the latest technologies to provide proactive services that ensure transparency, accountability, and last-mile service delivery. By swiftly addressing citizens’ needs across sectors, RTGS enhances governance efficiency and responsiveness, making Andhra Pradesh a mode“l of digital governance.

Transformative Impact of AI and DeepTech

AI and DeepTech are transforming public services, generating employment, expanding knowledge capital, and improving the quality of life. Having established Hyderabad as one of Asia’s premier IT hub, the next commitment is to transform Andhra Pradesh as the next DeepTech hub for India and the region by fostering sustainable economic growth and wealth creation through technological advancements.

GovTech Summit 2024 and the Vision Ahead

The upcoming DeepTech/GovTech Summit 2024, a significant milestone, will bring together global innovators, thought leaders, startups, and policymakers to accelerate Andhra Pradesh’s rise as a DeepTech hub. The summit will foster partnerships and innovation in governance, public health, MSMEs and other sectors. Andhra Pradesh, guided by the P4 framework, leads in tech-driven, inclusive growth, uniting people, public, and private sectors for sustainability.
